John Semenuk

JOHN SEMENUK, age 85, of Kinsman, Ohio, died Monday, November 27, 2006. He was born October 26, 1921 in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania, to Andrew Semenuk, Sr. and Mary (Harpul) Semenuk. A long time resident of Kinsman, Mr. Semenuk was a 1939 graduate of Clifton Heights High School in Pennsylvania. He was a World War II veteran having served in the United States Army. Mr. Semenuk was employed by Target in Kinsman, Ohio for over 25 years, retiring in 1985. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. Mr. Semenuk married Bette Jean (Williard) on June 30, 1946. She died December 3, 1972. Also preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Andrew Semenuk, Jr. He is survived by two daughters, Karen S. (Frank) Danso of Cortland,Ohio; and Linda S. (Bill) Miller of Kinsman,Ohio; and five grandchildren, William and Stacey Danso, and Kate, Ashley, and John Miller. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at 11:00 A.M. at Kinsman Cemetery, Church Street, Kinsman,Ohio, with Pastor Mary A. Prior officiating.
