John Victor Teter

Linesville, Pennsylvania - John Victor Teter, age 65, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 6, 1951 in Durbin, West Virginia, a son of Jenette (Myer) and Warren Teter. John attended Conneaut Lake High School. John was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force, having proudly served for a year and a half in Vietnam. He was a repairman for ConRail Railroad for over eighteen years and later worked for Amerigas of Andover, Ohio. On April 5, 1997 he Married Tina DiDay. To John enjoyment was spending time at the shooting range with his daughter Jessica. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding on his Harley motorcycle, tinkering on cars and spending time with his precious granddaughters, which were near and dear to his heart. He was a member of the American Legion and V. F. W. of Linesville, Pennsylvania, as well as the Legion Riders. John is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Barbara Teter. Survivors include his wife of nineteen years Tina A. Teter of Linesville, Pennsylvania; a daughter, Jessica V. Teter of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; three step-daughters, Jennie Webb of Waterbury, Connecticut, Amanda L. (Robert) Everly of Andover, Ohio and Brianne R. (Matthew) Thibodeaux of Ashtabula, Ohio; four granddaughters, Olivia, Elizabeth, Emma, Emelia and six sisters, Margaret (Larry) Mullen of Espyville, Pa, Trudy Forro of Linesville, Pa, Connie (Brian) Cox of Linesville, Pa, Lois (Johnny) Dosier, Shelva Jean Hesson and Joann St. Clair all of Columbus, Ohio. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 5:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Saturday, April 16th from 3:00 until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
