Jonna G. Grim

Jonna G. Grim, age 66, of Espyville, PA, died peacefully Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, after a brief illness. She was born July 28, 1944, in Dayton,Ohio, a daughter of Norton and Io (Gislason) Gardner. A resident of Espyville since 1991, Jonna was formerly of Jefferson and North Bloomfield, Ohio. She was a graduate of Shaker Heights High School; and in 1996 graduated magna cum laude from Thiel College in Greenville, PA, with B.A. degrees in Business and Accounting. Jonna earned the honor of class salutatorian. She was employed as the Comptroller for Holiday Camplands in Andover, Ohio, since 1999; and she owned and operated Espyville Tax Services. Jonna also was a licensed realtor and was employed by Spieth Realty in Andover since 2002. When her children were young she served as a 4-H and Girl Scout leader. Her hobbies included crafting, crocheting, working on the computer; and she was an avid reader. Jonna is survived by daughter, Jennifer (Don) Gliebe of Delaware,OH, daughter, Julie (John) Ciupak of St. Louis, MO, daughter, Jacqui DeLuca of Lansing, MI, son, Joseph (Angela) Grim of Sandy Lake, PA, daughter, Jami (Mike) Smith of Philadelphia, PA, daughter, Jessica (Sam) LeCrone of Wilson, NC, son, James (Lisa) Grim of Pittsburgh, PA, son, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Grim of Indiana, PA, fifteen grandchildren, Katie, Sean, Morgan, Dominic, Hannah, Joey, Anthony, Joshua, Jackson, Mya, Gina, Emma, Andrew, Isabella, and Owen, one brother, Mark Wood of Australia, and one sister, Karen Weston of Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH, with Pastor Greg Cox officiating. A private burial will follow in Sager Cemetery, Bristolville, OH. Calling hours will be on Friday, August 20th from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
