Judith A. Amick

JUDITH A. AMICK, age 54, of Vernon Township, Ohio, died at her home on Friday, June 16, 2006. She was born November 2, 1951 to Gohen and Eura (Riggs) Maher. She was a long time Vernon resident. Mrs. Amick was a homemaker and she worked part time as a caregiver. She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God in Canfield,OH; and she was a member of the Red Hat Society. Mrs. Amick enjoyed cooking, crafts, doing floral arranging, and she was an avid reader. She is survived by her husband, Sidney A. Amick, whom she married January 16, 1971; daughter, Shannon (Brian) Parnell of Cincinnati,OH; son, Joshua Shane (Pamela) Amick of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter, Julia Amick of Cleveland,OH; mother, Eura Maher of Cortland,OH; two grandsons, Nathaniel and Carson Parnell of Cinncinati, OH; and a brother, Gohen Maher of Warren, OH. She is preceded in death by her father and her sister, Jeanine. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at 6:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH.
