Junior "Bud" Tarr, 82 years old, of Johnston Twp., Ohio, died on Friday, December 17, 2004, at home. Mr. Tarr was born on January 20, 1922, in Oil City, PA, to the late Orville C. Tarr and the late Nellie Coreen (Steel) Tarr. A resident of Johnston since 1946, Mr. Tarr was employed by Warren Tool for 43 years, retiring in 1984. He also owned and operated a TV repair shop for many years. He was a veteran of WW II having served in the Army Air Corps. He attended the Johnston Federated United Methodist Church. He enjoyed camping, doing word search puzzles, crafts, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Mr. Tarr married Flossie B. (Kirby) on January 17, 1942. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Gary Lee Tarr, Jr.; and three sisters, Dollie Ireland, Judy Thrope, and Joann Williams. He is survived by his wife, Flossie B. Tarr of Johnston Twp., OH; his daughter, Joyce Kellar of Bradenton, FL; his son, Gary Tarr of Johnston Twp., OH; his son, Jim Tarr of Cortland, OH; his son, Dennis Tarr of Vienna, OH; his son, Tim Tarr of Boardman, OH; his brother, Oliver Nicholas of New York; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2004, at 4:15p.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio.
