Jutta Alexander

Jutta Alexander, age 55, of Andover, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. She was born April 24, 1956, in Pirmasens, Germany, a daughter of Werner and Hermine (Roser) Zwipf. A resident of Andover since 1991, Jutta was formerly of Madison. She was a graduate of Normandy High School in Parma, OH; and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in teaching from the University of Akron. She was employed by Cranberry Station Restaurant in Andover for five years as a cook; and has worked at Walmart for a total of sixteen years. Most recently she was the Vision Center Manager at Walmart in Hermitage, PA; and prior to that was Assistant Manager for Walmart in Meadville, PA. Jutta was a member of the Chester Christian Center A/G in Chesterland, OH. She loved to sponsor children through World Vision; and she enjoyed traveling and collecting Precious Moments and Boyd's Bear figurines. She loved to cook and bake, especially cakes for various occasions in Andover. Jutta is survived by her husband, Michael Alexander, whom she married March 29, 1980; her father, Werner (Karolina) Zwipf of Parma, OH; her brother, Stefan Zwipf of Medina, OH; two half brothers, Armin (Petra) Kohler and Manfred (Jutta) Kohler, both of Pirmasens, Germany; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dayton and Dorothy Alexander of Aurora, WV; her sister-in-law, Sue (Wayne) Watts of Aurora, WV; her brother-in-law, Eric Alexander of Aurora, WV; nephew, Bryan (Rose) Watts, niece, Becky (Robbie) Michaels, nephew, Shad (Nikki) Green, nephew, Trevor Alexander, niece, Monica Zwipf, nephew, Sascha Kohler; and three great nieces, Amber Watts, Michaela Green, and Kiersten Green. She is preceded in death by her mother; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Williams. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Andover Christian Church, 150 Stillman Ave., Andover,OH, with Pastor Stefan Sawczak, of the Chester Christian Center A/G, officiating. Calling hours will be on Sunday, February 26th from 2 PM to 6 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover,OH. Burial will take place in Aurora, West Virginia.
