Katherine R. Waldron

KATHERINE R. WALDRON, age 81, of Andover, Ohio, died Sunday, August 3, 2008, at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, PA. She was born August 26, 1926, in Andover, Ohio, the daughter of Edward and Creesah (Phelps) Roach. A long time Andover resident, she was a 1944 graduate of Ashtabula Harbor High School. She was a homemaker and loved playing Bingo, golfing, and attending all of her children and grandchildren's functions and events. Mrs. Waldron married Carl W. Waldron on September 4, 1945. He preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 2003. She is survived by two sons, James E. Waldron of Independence, OH, and Jeffrey W. Waldron of Hubbard, OH; three daughters, Dianne Orahood of Andover,OH, Julliann Dillon of Mecca, OH, and Roxanne Hudson of Ashtabula, OH; one sister, Maxine Marzek of Austinburg,OH; twelve grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held. Burial of cremated remains will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH, handled arrangements.
