Kathleen F. Menock

Kathleen F. Menock, 54 years old, of Cortland, Ohio, died on Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio. Kathleen was born on June 29, 1949, in Falls View, WV, to the late Clarence S. Lacy and the late Eureka K. Kilburn. A long-time resident of Farmdale, Mrs. Menock had been residing in Cortland, Ohio, for the past 2 years. She was a 1968 graduate of Gauley Bridge High School, in Gauley Bridge, WV. Mrs. Menock was presently employed with Kraftmaid of Orwell. She previously was a manager for the Subway of Cortland for many years and worked for several area nursing homes. Mrs. Menock was a member of the Kinsman Fire Department Womens' Auxillary, and enjoyed crafts and reading. She married James M. Menock, Jr. on May 28, 1977. He died May 22, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a grandson, Cory David Croft. She is survived by her two daughters, Dawn R. (David) Croft of Farmdale, OH; and Heather M. Menock of Cortland, OH; her two grandsons, Jared and Justin Croft of Farmdale, OH; her sister, Sharon K. Wilmoth of Newton, WV; her father-in-law, James M. Menock, Sr., of Kinsman, OH; her mother-in-law, Ruth Menock of Kinsman, OH; Several Aunts and Uncles including Frank and Alice Lacy of Andover, OH; and special friend, Tiffany Fitch of Kinsman, OH. Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 13, 2004, at 11:00a.m. at the Baumgardner Fuenral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday, March 12, 2004, from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Womens' Auxillary at P.O. Box 241, Kinsman, OH 44428.
