Richmond, Ohio - Kathy Ann Hart, age 55, died on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Geauga UHHS Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on July 28, 1954, in Erie, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Helen L. (Thompson) and Hubart Graham. A longtime Jefferson resident, Mrs. Hart moved to Richmond, Ohio in 2009. She was a member of the Andover Christian Church. Mrs. Hart collected cows, enjoyed doing plastic canvas and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandfather, Merle Upperman. Survivors include her husband of nineteen years, Delmas L. Hart of Richmond, Ohio, whom she married on January 11, 1991. Other survivors include five daughters, Kassandra L. Phipps of Mailna, Arkansas, Karen S. (Eric) Jerret of Applewood, Wisconsin, Melissa A. Henry of Richmond, Ohio, Kathy M. Chalker of Bensenville, Illinois and EO3, Justina M. Kiel of the United States Marine Corps, in Gulfport, Mississippi; four sisters, Barbara Foy, Rosie Brown, Lori Rupert all of Erie, Pennsylvania, and Carol Gallardo of Alabama; four brothers, Billy, John and George (Theresa) Graham all of Erie, Pennsylvania, and Danny Graham of Ohio and fifteen grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 11:00am at the Andover Christian Church on Stillman Ave. Andover, Ohio with Rev. Robert Gears officiating. Private burial will take place at Oakdale Cemetery in Jefferson, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Baumgardner Funeral Home, PO Box 1450, Andover, Ohio 44003.
