Kenneth R. Baker

Kenneth R. Baker, 65 years old, of Orwell, Ohio, died on Sunday, May 23, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Kenneth was born on December 17, 1938, in Washington County, IN, to the late Clarence W. Baker and the late Ruth (Nicholson) Baker. Formerly of Chardon, Ohio, Kenneth was a resident of Colebrook since 1994. He was a 1956 graduate of Chardon High School. Mr. Baker was a tool and die maker for the Carlisle Industries of Middlefield for 12 years, retiring in 2000. He enjoyed attending flea markets and garage sales. Mr. Baker married Sally A. Seifert on January 30, 1982. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Joan (Kavanagh) Baker, and a sister, Peggy Weber. He is survived by his wife, Sally A. Baker of Colebrook, OH; his three daughters, Teresa Rose Baker of Saybrook, OH; Julie Ann Yeatman of Orwell, OH; Kimberly Ruth Castro Mazny of Munson, OH; his two stepsons, Steven Paul Schmitt of Burton, OH; and Michael Merle Craver of Garrittsville, OH; his two brothers, Don Emil Baker of Thompson, OH; and Gary Lee Baker of Rome, OH; his sister, Judy Rose Nungesser of Eastlake, OH; and ten grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Greene Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 7995 Dennison Ashtabula Road, Greene, Ohio, on Saturday, May 29, 2004, at 3:00p.m. No Calling hours will be held. Arrangements were handled by Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio.
