Kenneth R. Bloss

Kenneth R. Bloss, Jr., age 63, of Kinsman,OH, died Monday, June 18, 2018, at home. He was born August 4, 1954, in Greenville, PA, a son of Kenneth R. Bloss, Sr. and Maxine Elaine (McMillen) Bloss. A lifelong area resident, Ken had also lived in Jamestown, PA, and Warren, OH, for a short time. He was employed by Greenville Steel Car Co. in Greenville, PA, Kinsman Implement in Kinsman, and as a farmhand for many years at Hunting Valley Farms in Jamestown. Most recently he had been helping out local friends with their farms. Ken was a former volunteer for the Kinsman Volunteer Fire Department; and he enjoyed gardening, cooking, and building things. He is survived by his son, Christopher Bloss of Richmond, KY; his daughter, Amanda Bloss of Richmond, KY; 10 Grandchildren; 1 Great-grandchild; three brothers, Joe Bloss of Kinsman, OH, John Bloss of Binghamton, NY, and Bob Bloss of Kinsman,OH; five sisters, Kay Johnson of Kinsman, OH, Carol Scisinger of Warren, OH, Mary Bush of Burghill, OH, Karen Bloss-Miller of Sun Lakes, AZ, and Beverly Drawl of Cortland,OH; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Lisa Zimmerman on July 19, 2015. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 7:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH. Calling hours will be on Saturday from 5:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home, PO Box 285, Kinsman, OH 44428.
