Williamsfield, Ohio - Kenneth Andrew Pfrenger, age 51, died suddenly on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at St. Joseph Emergency Center in Andover, Ohio. He was born on May 21, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Mary Ellen (Kormos) and Edward D. Pfrenger. Kenneth was a 1983 graduate of Middlefield High School and attended Kent State University for two years. On May 25, 1995 he married Shannon Louise Dorhn. Formerly of Middlefield, Ohio, Kenneth was a resident of Williamsfield, Kinsman area for the past thirteen years. A man of many talents, Kenneth was a martial arts instructor, a musician and a carpenter. He was a founding member of NEOHEMAS, a director of Cumann bhota, an amazing bass player, and enjoyed boxing, stick fighting, practicing pugilism and studying Etymology. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of twenty-one years, Shannon L. Pfrenger of Williamsfield, Ohio; a step-son, Jason P. Bowers of Painesville, Ohio; four daughters, Kaylia M. Pfrenger, Abigail F. Pfrenger, Chelsea R. Pfrenger and Sophia E. Pfrenger all at home in Williamsfield, Ohio; a son, Angus C. Pfrenger at home in Williamsfield; three sisters, Laura Sullivan, Nancy DeVore, and Karen Pfrenger-Brott and two brothers, Mark and Edward Pfrenger. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio.
