JEFFERSON-Kenneth Brian Tauche, 67, passed away in his home on Monday, October 7, 2024.
Born December 8, 1956, he was a son of the late Karl B. and Viola S. (Piontkowski) Tauche. A longtime resident of New Lyme, Ken was a 1975 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School.
Ken proudly served his country in the United States Army before being honorably discharged in 1983.
As a self-employed truck driver, Ken navigated countless roads, bringing with him the qualities of a man who was true to his word. He was strong-willed and very opinionated, traits that were well-known among those who knew him. “You loved him, you hated him, or you did both.”
His straightforward approach to life left a lasting impression on friends and family alike. In his spare time, Ken had a heart for farming, running farm equipment and enjoyed scrapping.
Ken's memory will live on through the stories shared by those who had the honor of knowing him.
He is survived by his three sons, Travis (Samantha) Tauche, Bruce Tauche and Brian Tauche; 7 grandchildren, Shane Shingler, Seth Shingler, Natalie Myers, Dominick Tauche, Kylee Tauche, Kyra Beach and Mallory Barnett; daughter-in-law, Alicia Tauche and the mother of his children, Danette Wilber.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Karl B. Tauche, Jr.
