Laurabelle A. Lobaugh

Laurabelle A. Lobaugh, 84 years old, of Kinsman, Ohio, died on Friday, April 23, 2004, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio. Laurabelle was born on September 21, 1919, in Gustavus Township, Ohio, to the late James Bower and the late Vera (Semler) Bower. Formerly of Gustavus Township, Ohio, Mrs. Lobaugh has lived in Kinsman for the past 12 years. She was a 1938 graduate of Gustavus High School. She was a homemaker, and she worked at the Ravenna Arsenal during World War II. Mrs. Lobaugh was a member of the Kinsman United Methodist Church, and the Kinsman Golden Aires. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and traveling. Laurabelle married Verne G. Lobaugh on November 27, 1974. She and her husband had the chapel built in Kinsman Cemetery. Preceding her in death are her sister, Kathryn Williamson, two brothers, Robert and Ronald Bower, and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Verne G. Lobaugh of Kinsman, OH; her four sons, Gerald H. (Sally) Morse of Dorset, OH; Ronald G. Morse of Mineral Ridge, OH; Edwin D. Morse of Orwell, OH; and Larry J. Morse, Sr. of Gustavus Twp., OH; her two sisters, Pauline Hadley of North Kingsville, OH; and Donna M. Hruska of Cincinnati, OH; her brother, Franklin Bower of Venice, FL; her grandson, William Bean; her granddaughter, Sally Elliott; her grandson, Dennis Morse; her granddaughter, Sarah Morse; her granddaughter, Amanda Pelton; her granddaughter, Wanda Morse; her grandson Larry Morse, Jr.; and ten great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at 11:00a.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St, Kinsman, Ohio, with Reverend Marian Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 27, 2004, from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
