Laurel L. Fetters

Laurel L. Fetters, age 85, of New Lyme township, OH, died Monday, December 31, 2012, at Jefferson Health Care Center. She was born May 28,1927, in Plymouth township,OH, a daughter of Richard C. and Minnie E. (Gould) Bissett. A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Fetters was a homemaker. She was a member of the Cherry Valley United Methodist Church; and the Cherry Valley Mother's Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, and flower gardening. Mrs. Fetters married Lee Fetters on June 29, 1947; and he preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 2010. She is also preceded in death by her parents; a great granddaughter, Larie Ashley Marshall; three brothers, Richard Bissett, William Bissett, and Edward Pickard; and one sister, Elizabeth Yale. Survivors include four daughters, Barbara L. (Loren) Hopkins of Kinsman, Ohio, Debra L. (James) McHale of Westford, Pennsylvania, Pamela R. (Marty) Milinski of Jefferson, Ohio and Eileen E. (Doug) Raymond of Geneva, Ohio; two sons, David Lee (Bonnie) Fetters of Pooler, GA, and Timothy E. (Laura) Fetters of Kinsman, Ohio; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, with Pastor Ed J. Pickard officiating. Burial will follow in Brownville Cemetery in New Lyme, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Thursday, January 3rd from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
