LaVerne I. Gruskiewich

LaVERNE GRUSKIEWICH, age 80, died Saturday, May 19, 2007, at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tenn. She was born on July 11, 1926 to Albert and Ilah (Griffin) Stroud. Mrs. Gruskiewich grew up in Tennessee, but lived many years in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she was a successful real estate broker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael on April 22, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fitzhugh, Van, Paul, Earl, and William Stroud; sisters, Sarah Brewer and Billie Sue Presley. Mrs. Gruskiewich is survived by brother, James (Mary) Stroud; sisters, Rose Woodby, Jean (Jack) Warren, and Evelyn (Frank) Gardner; sisters-in-law, Mary B. Stroud and Iva Jean Stroud; many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2007 at the Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover at 11:00 AM.
