Laverta "Vickie" Chamberlain

Dorset, OH LAVERTA "VICKIE" CHAMBERLAIN, age 76, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born June 19, 1930, in Conneautville, PA a daughter of Orlando and Myrtle (Feterman) Smith. Mrs. Chamberlain was a 1948 graduate of Conneautville High School. She served as an assistant at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home for more than 15 years. Mrs. Smith attended Cherry Valley Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Chamberlain was preceded in death by her husband, Albert. She was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne Chamberlain; two brothers, Homer and James Smith, and a sister, Pauline Moore Mrs. Chamberlain is survived by a daughter, Darlene J. Todaro-Guess and husband Victor of Raleigh, North Carolina; a son, Timothy J. Chamberlain of Ashtabula, Ohio; grandchildren, NIcholas and Danielle Todaro, of Raleigh, North Carolina; stepsons, Donald and wife Nancy Chamberlain, of Greenville, Pennsylvania, Bill Chamberlain, of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; and William (Brenda) Sanger, of Conneaut, Ohio and numerous step-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2007, at 11:00 AM at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, OH, with Pastor Buck Traylor officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2007 from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
