LaVonna "Bonnie" McGann

LaVonna "Bonnie" McGann, age 92, of Espyville, PA, died at home on Friday, November 2, 2018. She was born on January 28, 1926 in Ashtabula, Ohio, the daughter of Velma B. (Baker) and Lewis H. Landon. She was a graduate of Linesville High School; and on October 22, 1943 she married Robert C. McGann. Mrs. McGann worked as an inspector for the GE bulb plant in Andover for over 20 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Andover; and she enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She loved to spend time with her family. Mrs. McGann is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-eight years, Robert McGann; 4 sisters, Audrey G. Shadduck, Genevieve Thompson, Betty Pickett, and Ruth March; and 3 brothers, Paul L. Landon, Reed Jack Landon, and Lincoln L. Landon. She is survived by her 4 children, Robert (Sheryl)McGann of Andover, OH, Debi (Bernard) Mood of Meadville, PA, Bryan (Katerina) McGann of Beloit, OH, and William (Eva) McGann of Sanford, NC; her 8 grandchildren, Heather McGann, Vanessa McGann, Julianne McGann, Robin Hudson, Jason (Shannon) Hudson, Samantha (John) Kemp, Robert McGann, and Marcus McGann; her 5 great grandchildren, Tate Hudson, Brittany Jones, Zoe Hudson, Malik Hudson, and Jude Kemp; her 3 great-great grandchildren, Eva-McKenzee Oliva, Khaloni-Grace Oliva, and Braylon Chadsey; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 9, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St.,Andover, OH, with Rev. Ric Harvel officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsfield Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, PO Box 207, Andover,OH 44003.
