Lawrence "Larry" Albright

Vernon, Ohio - Lawrence "Larry" L. Albright, 70, of Vernon, Ohio, died on Sunday, April 16, 2006. Mr. Albright was born on March 20, 1936 in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania to Samuel and Anna J. (Layton) Albright. Formerly of Fowler, Ohio, Mr. Albright was a Vernon resident for the past 6 years. Mr. Albright served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Albright general construction Company, of Youngstown, Ohio for 20 years, later serving as Deputy Sheriff for Mahoning County for over fifteen years retiring in 1976. Mr. Albright was a member of the VFW and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He married Barbara A. Sawicki on December 13, 1995. He is preceded in death by his father and a sister Donna Z. Weigand. Survivors include his wife Barbara of Vernon; three sons, L. Patrick (Kathleen) Albright, and Michael A. (Lori) Albright both of Austintown, Ohio, Samuel E. (Victoria) Albright of St. Petersburg, Florida, his mother, Anna J. Albright of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania; a sister Maude Novosel of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
