-KINSMAN, OHIO- Lawrence O. "Tink" Kidwell, 86, a lifelong Kinsman resident, died January 17, 2006 at his home. He was born on October 11, 1919 to Omar Craven and Inez (Arnold) Kidwell, in Kinsman. Mr. Kidwell served in the United States Army during World War II in the 45th infantry division. He was a lifelong farmer, having owned the Dun Rollin Farm with both dairy cattle and horses, where he was farming until he retired in 2003. Mr. Kidwell drove school bus for the Joseph Badger School district for over 25 years retiring in 1969. He along with his team of horses hauled christmas trees for the Manner's Tree Farm for over 30 years. Mr. Kidwell loved showing horses at the local fairgrounds for the past 35 years. He is preceded in death by his wife Alberta L. "Bert" Floch, whom he married on November 24, 1945. Also preceding him is his parents, brothers Bernard and Leo Kidwell, and sisters, Ruby Stredney, Marjorie Wade, Sara Jane Kidwell, Mary Leslie and grandson Timothy Kidwell. Mr. Kidwell is survived by his daughter Karlene K. (Karl) Reimer; sons Kenny K. (Brenda) Kidwell, Mark D. Kidwell all of Kinsman; four brothers, Duane Kidwell of Paxton, Massachusetts, Merle Kidwell of Kinsman, Omar Kidwell Jr. of Jamestown, Pennsylvania, Robert Kidwell of Sharon, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Dorothy McBride of Kinsman, Betty Malys of Cortland; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Burial will follow in Parklawn Cemetery, Jamestown, Pennsylvania. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 19th from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and on Friday from Noon until the time of services.
