Lawrence “Larry” S. Hayes,

Austinburg, Ohio – Lawrence Samuel Hayes, Jr., age 77, died on Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was born on October 14, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of Domenica Constance (Stella) Principe and Lawrence S. Hayes, Sr. A longtime Andover resident “Larry” served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a plumber for the Cleveland Plumber and Fitting Union for over fifty years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Larry is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of thirteen years, Lura Lorraine (Collins) Hayes and a daughter, Kimberly Ann Hayes. Survivors include his son, David Hayes; a step son, Paul Barrows; two daughters, Maria Schauer and Natalie Hayes; his sister, Elaine (Nicholas) Moutafakis and a grandson, Kaden Bogden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 481 South Main Street, Andover, Ohio. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Andover. Calling hours will be on Wednesday, November 15th from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover.
