Leo W. Crouch, 91 years old, of Cortland, Ohio, died on Friday, March 26, 2004, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. Leo was born on October 6, 1912, in Williamsfield, Ohio, to the late George D. Crouch and the late Cora B. (Standley) Crouch. Formerly of Champion, Mr. Crouch has lived in Cortland for the past 20 years. He was a 1933 graduate of Johnston High School and served during World War II in the U.S. Army. He was employed in the engineering department for Copperweld Steel in Warren, Ohio, retiring in 1975. Mr. Crouch enjoyed traveling. Mr. Crouch married Viola (Gray) on October 29, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Kenneth Crouch. He is survived by his wife, Viola G. Crouch of Cortland, OH; his son, Ronald L. Crouch of Gaithersburg, MD; his granddaughter, Stacey L. Grimes of Harpers Ferry, WV; his three grandsons, Richard L. Crouch of Towsen, MD; Robert A. Crouch of Gaithersburg, MD; and Ronald Brad Crouch of Gaithersburg, MD. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 29, 2004, at 11:00a.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Pastor Oscar Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Johnston Cemetery, Johnston, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 29, 2004, from 10:00a.m. until the time of service.
