Roseburg, Oregon - Leroy Frank Noble, age 88, died on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 15, 1936, in Warren, Ohio, the son of Helen Mae (Mattocks) and James Leroy Noble. Leroy was a 1954 graduate of Greene High School and earned a two-year associate degree. They lived in Cortland, Ohio, wintered in ZephyrHills, Florida, or Happy Jack, Arizona, until her passing in 2020, and he moved to be close to his children in Oregon. Leroy is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a son Mark Noble. Survivors include three daughters, Eileen (Jack) Criddle of Champion, Ohio, Lori Noble and Julie (Dean) Kerner both of Roseburg, Oregon; three sons, Timothy (Mary) Noble of Phoenix, Arizona, and Gary Noble of Roseburg, Oregon, and Larry Noble of Richardson, Texas; three sisters, Mary Ellen Saltzman of Farmdale, Ohio, Beverly Lambert of Charles City, Iowa, and Arlene May of Auburn, Alabama; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
