Lillian S. Cauffield

Lillian S. Cauffield, age 85, of Kinsman, Ohio, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, OH. She was born September 4, 1928, in Colebrook, Ohio, a daughter of James and Edna M. (Freeman) Finlaw. A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Cauffield lived in Kinsman for over 50 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; and playing cards, Bingo, and doing crossword puzzles. Mrs. Cauffield married Thomas L. Cauffield on July 20, 1963; and he preceded her in death on May 27,1993. She is also preceded by her parents; 5 sisters, Helen Spencer, Marge Heflin, Nellie Housel, Ruby Shea, and Marion Hudson; and 2 brothers, Turhan Finlaw and Louis Finlaw. She is survived by her son, Thomas W. (Lesley) Cauffield of Kinsman, OH; her daughter, Susan E. (Norman) Thompson of Champion, OH; 4 grandchildren, Allison, Madison, Cassandra, and Kevin; 4 Great grandchildren; one sister, Irene Gwinn of North Bloomfield, OH; and two brothers, James Finlaw of Bristol, OH, and Richard Finlaw of Ravenna, OH. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 12:00 Noon at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH, with Rev. David McKinnon officiating. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
