Lillian Jeannett Thomas

Vienna, Ohio - Lillian Jeannett Thomas, age 81, died on Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Hospice House of Poland. She was born on February 9, 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Bonnie Maple (Helflin) and 1947 graduate of Maplewood High School and was formerly of Gustavus and Kinsman, Ohio. On February 28, 1948 she married Guy Howard Thomas. Mrs. Thomas attended the Fowler and Vienna Methodist Churches. She was a member of the former Burdette Edgar Totten Gustavus VFW Post No. 6263 Auxiliary for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, gardening, dancing, baking, camping, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Thomas is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-seven years, Guy H. Thomas; a son, Guy Thomas; three sisters, Alberta Bernard, Rosetta List and Maple Duffy; a brother, June Wright and four grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie (Don) Ragalyi of Vienna, Ohio; two sons, George (Ruth) Thomas of Burghill, Ohio and Mark (Karen) Thomas of Vienna, Ohio; four grandchildren, Devonna Ragalyi Howdershelt, Crisy Thomas Reid, Jason thomas and Jaime Thomas Musolf; seven great grandchildren, Chloe� Howdershelt, Raelle and Gaelen Reid, Zaine Musolf, Luke and Olivia Thomas and Braden Jones; two brothers, Robert Wright of Alamogordo, New Mexico and Alfred Wight of East Bangor, Pennsylvania. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at 11:00am at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Services, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
