Linda J. Diana, 82 yrs old, of Andover, Ohio,died on Thursday, January 22, 2004, at Austinburg Rehabilitation Center, Austinburg, Ohio. Mrs. Diana was born on December 31, 1921, in Mahoningtown, PA, to the late Ericole Nocera and the late Laura (DiAngelo) Nocera. A long time area resident, Mrs. Diana resided with her daughter and son-in-law in Andover. She was a homemaker and really enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Mrs. Diana served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945. Mrs. Diana married Anthony J. "Mash" Diana on May 6, 1961. He died March 10, 1994. Also preceding her in death were her three brothers, Dominic, Paris and Angelo Nocera; and four sisters, Louise Kovach, Esther Gayan, Margaret Pecoraro, and Lillian Dukovich. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Anne (John) Seaman of Andover, OH; her son, George J. (Dora Lea) Hill of Dryfork, WV; her two sisters, Lenora Laporis of Espyville, PA; and Jean Bushman of Campbell, OH; her three grandchildren, Geniene (Thomas) Hankey of Youngstown, OH; Thomas Chizmar, Jr. of Cleveland, OH; and Jared Milliron of Morgantown, WV; and one Great Granchild, Anson Hankey. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 26, 2004, at 11:00a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church, 401 S. Mercer St., Linesville, PA, with Father John Barwin officiating. Burial will follow at St. Philip's Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday, January 25, 2004, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio.
