Lloyd Eugene Arnold

Kinsman, Ohio - Lloyd E. Arnold, age 89, died on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at his home. He was born on June 5, 1925 in Wayne, Ohio, a son of L. Gertrude (Davis) and Carl Arnold. A life long area resident, Mr. Arnold graduated in 1942 from Kinsman High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1944 until 1946. Mr. Arnold worked for the former GATX of Masury, Ohio, retiring in 1983 when the plant closed. On May 15, 1949 he married Margaret Louise Job. He was a member of the Stateline United Methodist Church, where he was a youth group leader and taught Sunday School. Mr. Arnold was also a member of the Kinsman American Legion. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and working his small farm. Mr. Arnold is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include his wife of sixty-five years, Margaret L. Arnold of Kinsman, Ohio; a daughter, Judy L. Bruce of Kinsman, Ohio; a son, Eugene D. Arnold of Kinsman, Ohio; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:00am at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery.
