Lois Larue Holt

Lois Larue Holt, age 75, of Fowler, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Concord Care Center in Fowler after an extended illness. She was born November 28, 1932, in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harry C. Ferguson, Sr. and Naomi Larue (Connor) Myers. A former resident of Niles, Ohio, Mrs. Holt had been a long time resident of Fowler. She was employed as a dental assistant many years ago; and she enjoyed crocheting. Mrs. Holt married Albert L. Holt, Sr. on Jan. 20, 1978, and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2003. Also preceding her in death are an infant son, Ronnie, in 1947; and a son-in-law, Bill Borges. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Joseph) Steh of Hartford, OH, and Lois Borges of Fenton, MI, one son, David Yost of New Castle, PA, three grandchildren, Melissa Steh, Justin and Bill Borges, one great grandson, Merick Borges, one brother, Harry Ferguson, Jr. of McKeesport, PA, two half brothers, William and Richard Ferguson, and two half sisters, Elizabeth Lockhart and Susan Ferguson. A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman,OH. Burial will follow in Dugan Cemetery, Fowler,OH. Calling hours will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
