Lois C. Southwick, 78 years old, of Andover, Ohio, died on Sunday, April 18, 2004, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio. Lois was born on June 8, 1925, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Joseph Kloboucnick and the late Florence (Walcher) Kloboucnick. A long time Andover resident, Mrs. Southwick was employed by Andover Industries for 21 years, retiring in 1985. She and her husband also owned and operated Lois and Bob's Newsroom in Andover from 1979 to 1991. She was a member of the Covered Bridge Chapter #591 Order of the Eastern Star, Rock Creek, and she attended the First United Methodist Church of Andover. Mrs. Southwick enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing the lottery, and she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. Lois married Robert Southwick on June 17, 1944. He died on September 25, 1993. Also preceding her in death was her daughter, Lyn M. Ferguson; a granddaughter, Michelle D. Ferguson; her brother, Melvin Hatter; and two sisters, Florence Michalske and Dorothy Cimmino; and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Rosann C. (Robert) Horton of Idaho Falls, ID; her two sons, Robert C. (Peggy) Southwick of Andover, OH; and Larry M. (Vicki) Southwick of Warren, OH; Ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2004, at 1:00p.m. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. Calling hours will be from 11:00a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charitable organization of one's choice.
