Louise (Pilson) Clayborn, 76, of Denmark township, passed away at her home on July 15, 2004. She was born in Richmond township, Ohio on September 18, 1927, the daughter of Ernst W. and Lelia A. (Litwiler) Gibbs. She resided in Richmond until she married her second husband Amos E. Clayborn on August 17, 1985. Mrs. Clayborn was a kind and gentle person whose first love was her family, who together with Amos raised many foster children. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, and caring for her many animals, especially Sissy, her little dog. Mrs. Clayborn loved decorating for the holidays, with her favorite being Christmas. She loved sports and was a devoted Cleveland Indians fan. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Amos E. Clayborn on June 1, 1996, and a son Donald Rae Pilson in 1960. Mrs. Clayborn is survived by three sons, Ernie Pilson of Berlin Hts, OH, Larry Pilson of Springfield, OH, Darren Pilson, of Andover, OH. Four daughters, Linda Smith, of Andover, OH, Debbie Fisher,and Donna Pilson both of Ashtabula, OH and Lisa Pilson of Jefferson, OH, and a foster son Chris Jones of Jefferson. Twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 19, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover,Ohio with the Rev. Vernon Palo officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2004 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
