Little Falls, Minnesota, - Louise Elaine Garvey, age 90, died at her home on Monday, January 16, 2012. She was born on September 4, 1921, in Andover, Ohio, the daughter of Julia Florence (Twitchel) and Wilbert Eugene Babcock. Mrs. Garvey was a 1939 graduate of Andover High School and she also graduated from Beauty School. On February 1, 1945 she married Henry Charles Garvey. She was a member of the North Naples United Methodist Church in Naples, Florida. She was formerly of Conneaut, Ohio for over forty years, and was a member of the Conneaut Mothers Club. Mrs. Garvey enjoyed gardening, reading, volunteering at church and to her family she was the best Mom in the world. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-five years, Henry C. Garvey; a son, Jeffrey Charles Garvey and two brothers, Eugene and Charles Babcock. Survivors include four daughters, Janice E. (Robert) McCarthy of Little Falls, Minnesota, Gloria J. (David) Flick and Mary J. (Doug) Humphrey both of Naples, Florida, and Julia A. (Kevin) Baldwin of Odessa, Florida; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Burial of cremated remains will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Andover, Ohio, at the convenience of the family.
