Lucile Logan Cole, age 88, of Williamsfield,OH, died Monday, June 18,2012, at her home. She was born March 3, 1924, in Gustavus, OH, a daughter of Victor and Clara (Switzer) Logan. A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Cole was a graduate of Gustavus High School; and she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Home Economics from Ohio State University and her Master's Degree in Education from Youngstown State Univeristy. She was a school teacher for Andover, New Lyme, Williamsfield, and Pymatuning Valley Schools for many years. Mrs. Cole was a member of the Kinsman United Methodist Church; the Gustavus U & I Club; the Williamsfield Study Club; and the Kinsman Tourist Club. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, and writing. She loved to travel, having traveled over the years from China to Russia. Mrs. Cole is survived by her husband, Charles H. Cole, whom she married in 1945, of Williamsfield, OH; daughter, Margaret Cole of North Royalton, OH, son, Charles C. Cole of Warren, OH, daughter, Patricia Whyte of Jamestown, PA, son, Kenneth Cole of Kinsman, OH, son, Victor Cole of Fort Lauderdale, FL, son, Richard Kelly Cole of Williamsfield, OH; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Cole; three sisters, Patricia Jeffers, Eleanor Brown, and Alice Blaemire; and two brothers, Victor and John Logan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Kinsman United Methodist Church, 8362 Main St., Kinsman,OH, with Rev. David McKinnon officiating.
