Lucille Mae Queale

Lucille Mae Queale, age 91, of Champion, Ohio, died Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren,OH. She was born May 31, 1921 in Cherry Valley township, Ohio, a daughter of John Andrew and Bernie Ann (Hayes) Hinkle. A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Queale retired from Sparkle in Champion as a bakery clerk. She was a member of the Southington United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the Ladies Circle. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in West Mecca; and was an avid crocheter having made many hats, scarves, and afghans for her family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing many different items for church fundraising sales. Mrs. Queale married Richard Queale, Sr. on December 18, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1991. She was also preceded by two sons, Roger Queale in 1987, and Richard Queale, Jr. in 2012; five sisters; and three brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Joan (Tom) Hudak of Champion, OH; one sister, Jean McManus of Cortland,OH; one brother, Fred Hinkle of Jefferson, OH; seven grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH. Burial will follow in Kinsman Cemetery.
