Lula B. Albert, 97 years old, of Kingsville, OH, died on Saturday, February 14, 2004, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home in Kingsville, OH. Mrs. Albert was born on February 16, 1906, in Waxahachie, TX, to the late James D. Freeman and the late Elizabeth (Tapp) Freeman. A former long-time Andover resident, Mrs. Albert has lived in Kingsville for the past four years. She was a homemaker; a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Andover; and a member of the 55 and Over Club in Andover. Mrs. Albert married Herman E. Albert on Septemeber 2, 1945, in Austin, Texas. He died April 23, 1959. Also preceding her in death are her sister, Annie Pearl; and a brother, William Roy Freeman. She is survived by her daughter, Georgiale Christo of Ashtabula, OH; her brother, James Lee Freeman of Hillsboro, TX; her granddaughter, Kimberly Rose Christo of Ashtabula, OH; and a great granddaughter, Ashley Rose Runnion of Ashtabula, OH. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2004, at 12:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio, with Rev. Scott Ressman officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. Calling hours will be from 11:00a.m. until the time of services.
