L. Wayne "Blue" Overly, age 80, of Andover, OH, died Saturday, July 16, 2016, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, OH. He was born May 20, 1936, in New Castle, PA, a son of Lloyd W. Overly and Ella (Ukkonen) Overly Newport. A long time Andover resident, Mr. Overly was a former Youngstown resident where he graduated in 1955 from South High School. He was employed for 25 years as road supervisor for Andover township, retiring in 1998. Mr. Overly was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Andover and the Linesville Sportsman Club. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling in earlier years. Mr. Overly is survived by his wife, Frances I. Overly of Andover; his three daughters, Tracie A. (Mike) Landis of Williamsfield, OH, Stacie Lynn (Chris) Bowers of Fairport Harbor, OH, and Betsy J. Overly of Williamsfield, OH; two step sons, Clifton Outten and David Outten, both of Columbus, OH; one step daughter, Ginny (Darry) Buttray of Linesville, PA; 10 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; and his sister, Marilyn (Bob) O'Leary of Canfield, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marquerite Brown; and one brother, L. Wes Overly. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the home of Mike and Tracie Landis, 5560 Slater Rd. W, Williamsfield,OH.
