Lynn I. Hurd,

Kinsman, Ohio - Lynn I. Hurd, Sr. age 76, died at his home on Monday, June 27, 2016. He was born on June 8, 1940 in Warren, Ohio, a son of Dorthea Lile (Wilcox) and Paul Revere Hurd. Lynn was a 1958 graduate of Farmington High School. He drove truck for L.T. Harnett Trucking of Kinsman, Ohio, worked in construction and most recently was a butcher for the Walmart in Meadville, Pennsylvania for the past fifteen years. Lynn enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Wallace Hurd. Survivors include two daughters, LaVon B. (Charles) O'Neill of Andover, Ohio and Lora L. Burtt of Orwell, Ohio; a son, Lynn I. Hurd, Jr. of Williamsfield, Ohio; a sister, Juanita Schick of Leavittsburg, Ohio; three brothers, Kenneth (Linda) Hurd of Howland, Ohio, Paul (Eileen) Hurd of Kinsman, Ohio and Dean Hurd of Gasaway, West Virginia; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 from Noon to 2:00pm at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio.
