M. Nadean Fisher, age 79, of Andover, Ohio, died Monday, March 7, 2011 at Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born October 23, 1931, in Andover, Ohio, a daughter of Alice Margaret (Peck) and Forrest A. Jones. Nadean was a 1949 graduate of Kinsman High School and graduated from ITT School of Business in Youngstown, Ohio. A long time area resident she was formerly of South Carolina for 20 years. Nadean was employed for many years as a secretary, free lance writer and photographer for the Pymatuning Area News in Andover, Ohio and was a dispatcher for the Andover Police Department. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Andover, where she was the secretary for many years and was involved with the womenâ�™s ministry. Nadean was very involved in her church and community. She was on the committee for the Lake Festival for a number of years and always had an open door to welcome friends of her children. She is preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Merle Crowe; her husband, Francis X. Fisher; an infant brother, Lawrence Allen Jones and a grandson, Roger Merle â�œDustyâ Rhodes. Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Jane (Rick) Trettin of LaPuente, California and Bonnie L. (Kenny) Baxter-Mason of York, South Carolina; two sons, Harold A. â�œBuddyâ (Sally) Corson of Lugoff, South Carolina and James L. (Fiance, Deborah â�œChrissyâ Gould) Corson of Niles, Ohio; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 11:00am at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, with Rev. Ted Michelson officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Andover, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
