Margaret M. Seckler

MARGARET M. SECKLER, age 67, of Johnston Township, Ohio, died Sunday, February 26, 2006, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio. She was born Feb. 25,1939, in Williamsfield,OH, to Abe and Florence (Chamberlain) McKay. Formerly of Mecca, Mrs. Seckler was a long time Johnston resident. She was self employed doing cleaning and babysitting work. Mrs. Seckler loved animals, but especially loved her dog, Chipper. She married Alvis E. "Mike" Seckler on June 30, 1956, and was preceded in death by him on May 15, 2001. Also preceding her in death are her parents, one sister, Grace M. McKay, and one brother, Ernest L. McKay. She is survived by her two daughters, Edith M. Lynch and Jennie I. Proper, both of Johnston Township,OH; two sisters, Nancy Varner of Sharon, PA, and Virginia Shaffer of Cortland,OH; one brother, Robert McKay of Kings Mountain, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Dennis Lynch, Jr., Christina and Michael Lynch, and Jessica and Joshua Proper; and four great grandchildren, Douglas, Jared, Alex, and Jeffery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2006, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect St., Andover,OH.
