Marian G. Doyle

Marian G. Doyle, age 92, of Andover, Ohio, died Monday, January 9, 2017, at St. Joseph Emergency Center in Andover. She was born July 22, 1924, in Duluth, Minnesota, a daughter of Lloyd and Louise (Olson) Simonson. Mrs. Doyle grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and moved to Hudson, Ohio, where she met her husband, Edward P. Doyle, Sr. They married January 16, 1943; and moved to Andover in 1947. She owned and operated with her husband a dairy farm that she loved for over 50 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Andover, where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She enjoyed reading, seek-a-word puzzles, watching "General Hospital", but most of all loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Doyle is survived by her daughter, Carol A. (Raymond) Budzeak of Espyville, PA, her son, Edward P. (Dory) Doyle,Jr. of Andover,OH, her daughter, Nancy J. LaRusch of Andover, OH; her 11 Grandchildren; and 19 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward, on Jan. 17, 2001; an infant; two daughters, Theresa L. "Terry" Mills on March 14, 1999, and Elizabeth L. "Betsy" Forsythe on May 30, 2016; and her sister, Lois Schmidt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, January 16, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 481 S. Main St., Andover, OH, with Rev. Jeff Stealey officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover. Calling hours will be on Sunday, January 15th from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Baumgardner Funeral & Cremation Service, 134 Prospect St., Andover, OH. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
