Jefferson, Ohio â�" Marian J. Martin, age 80, died on November 4, 2010. She was born on August 8, 1930, in Big Sandy, Tennessee, the daughter of Georgia (Matheny) and Leslie Edwards. Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Martin moved to Andover in 1953. Previously of Zephyrhills, Florida, she has been back in the Andover area for the past eight years. Mrs. Martin worked at Andover Industries for over ten years and retired in 1970. She was a member of the Andover Christian Church where she sang in the choir. Mrs. Martin volunteered for Hospice for many years. She owned and operated Wil-Marie Ceramic Shop in Andover, Ohio and enjoyed doing ceramics. Mrs. Martin also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, knitting and doing crafts. She is preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, William E. Schulz, Dale Biesterveld and Mervin Martin; and a great granddaughter, Tara A. Schulz. Survivors include a daughter, Cindy A. (Russell) Adams of Lenox, Ohio; two sons, William L. (Beverly) Schulz of Wayne, Ohio and Randy R. (Cheryl) Schulz of Ripley, Tennessee; a sister, Norma J. (Harvey) Flick; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11:00am at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 134 Prospect Street, Andover, Ohio, with Pastor Robert Gears officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover, Ohio. Calling hours will be on Sunday, November 7, 2010, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
