Williamsfield, Ohio, - Marian A. Spengler, age 90, died on, Saturday, September 22, 2007, in Warren, Ohio. She was born on March 25, 1917, in Wayne, Ohio, the daughter of Guy and Blanch (Root) Miner. Mrs. Spengler was a 1936 graduate of Wayne High School. A longtime area resident. Mrs. Spengler was a resident of Largo, Florida, where she was employed for Suncoast Hospital for over ten years. While in Florida, she was a member of the Indian Rock Baptist Church, in Largo. Mrs. Spengler was employed by GE of Andover for many years and was a former member of the Wayne Congregational Church and the Wayne Historical Society. She enjoyed volunteering for the church and spending time reading. Mrs. Spengler is preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Mitchell E. Singrey; an infant brother; a brother, Lyle Miner; a sister, Louise Fillmore; and daughter in law, Carol Gillespie. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce and husband, Harold Singrey of Williamsfield, Ohio, and Nancy and husband, Richard Kreitling of Bovey, Minnesotta; two sons, David Gillespie and Darl Foltz, both of Bell, Florida; sister in law, Florence Spengler of Cincinnati, Ohio; ten grandchildren, Pam, Debbie, John, Bill, Heidi, Dawn-Marie, Debra, Steven, Brian and Jason; twenty one great grandchildren and special friends Frank and Beth Landrum of Lawton, Oklahoma. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main Street, Kinsman, Ohio, with Pastor Pat D. Seger officiating. Burial will follow in Hayes Cemetery in Wayne, Ohio. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 28th from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
