Marjorie Arleen Gschwind

MARJORIE ARLEEN GSCHWIND, age 96, passed away on August 18, 2007, at her home in Delray Beach, FL. She was born June 20, 1911, to the late Charles and Mabel (Mizner) Overmoyer in Wayne Township, OH. A 1929 graduate of Wayne High School, Mrs. Gschwind became a registered nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in Cleveland. She moved to Hollywood, FL, and continued private duty nursing there. Mrs. Gschwind married Jean Gschwind on December 7, 1973, and he preceded her in death in 1998. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Edythe Dillon in 1991. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Russell of Georgia; three grandchildren, Marjorie Black, Donny Wells, Jr., and Charlotte Marie Fulmer, all of North Carolina; several great grandchildren; her sister, Mary Phillips of New York; nieces, Ruth Lazor and Donna Boos, both of Wayne Township,OH; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also loved and missed by great nieces, Mary Ann and Meagan McCabe of Florida and her long time caregivers, Lilia, Uendi, Rosa, and Mary. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Hayes Cemetery, Wayne Township,OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a local Hospice.
