Marlene O. Braden

MARLENE O. BRADEN, age 70, of Kinsman, Ohio, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born October 2,1938, in Homestead, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Michael and Anna (Smoliga) Oresky. A long time Kinsman resident, Mrs. Braden was employed as an accountant for many years. She was involved with the Mahoning Valley Food Bank and was a former member of the Bronzewood Golf Course in Kinsman. She was an avid gardener, but most of all was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Braden is survived by her husband, Daniel M. Braden, whom she married October 24, 1998, of Kinsman; her son, Steven Madison of Niles, OH; her daughter, Jamie Boyd of Pittsburgh, PA; her daughter-in-law, Amy Madison of Pittsburgh, PA; her son-in-law, Curtis Boyd of Pittsburgh, PA; two step daughters, Marsha (Bill) Kochemba of Gustavus, OH, and Marlene (Rick) Stevens of Bristolville, OH; one step son, John Braden of Mecca, OH; four grandchildren, Joshua Boyd of Pittsburgh, PA, and Danielle Boyd of Houston, TX, Rachel Fox of Mecca, OH, and Garrett Braden of Bazetta township,OH; and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James E. Madison III, and Michael E. Madison; one brother; and three sisters. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH. Cremation will follow services.
