Martha Elizabeth Kinnison

Martha Elizabeth (Vandergrift) Kinnison, age 75, of Andover, Ohio, died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at her daughter's home in Ligonier, Pennsylvania. She was born June 15, 1938, in Mineral Ridge, Ohio, a daughter of Jessie T. and Ida (Minnick) Vandergrift. A resident of Andover since 1974, Mrs. Kinnison formerly lived in Mineral Ridge. She was employed for many years as a secretary at RMI Titanium in Niles, Ohio. She was an avid collector of China and teapots; and she enjoyed gardening, painting, and reading. She loved the outdoors, planting trees, and camping at Wildwood Acres in Andover. Mrs. Kinnison married Charles H. Kinnison on May 10, 1974. He preceded her in death on September 13, 1996. She is also preceded by her parents; and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa A. Mariotti-Robertson of Ligonier, PA; her son, Joshua L. Kinnison of Andover, Ohio; four grandchildren, Zachary Mariotti, Ezekiel Mariotti, Zoe Robertson, and Zemmi Robertson; and one brother, Bob Vandergrift of Niles, Ohio. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Maple Grove Cemetery, Andover, Ohio. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
