Martha M. Whetson

Martha M. Whetson, age 93, of Greene township, OH, died April 21, 2013. She was born June 12, 1919, in St. Mary's, Montana, a daughter of Ross I. and Eunice A. (Horton) Thomas. A long time area resident, Mrs. Whetson attended the Greene Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of a garden club and bowling league; and her hobbies included playing Bingo with her friends and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Whetson married Harold W. Whetson on June 12, 1940. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband; her son, Dennis K. Whetson; and her daughter, Donna K. Dvorak. She is survived by her son, Ross T. (Dianne) Whetson of Greene township, OH, OH; 7 Grandchildren, Linda, Michelle, Doug, Cynthia, Randall, Daniel, and Christina. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Greene Church of the Nazarene, corner of Rt. 46 and Rt. 87, with Pastor Jim Elkin officiating.
