Marvel J. Peel

Marvel J. Peel, age 67, of Wayne township, Ohio, died Friday, July 5, 2024, at University Hospitals in Cleveland,OH.

She was born December 30, 1956, in Greenville, PA, a daughter of George A. and Fannie M. (Wheeler) Nicholas.

Marvel was a 1975 graduate of Joseph Badger High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in nursing in Texas where she lived for over 20 years. She married Joseph F. Peel on February 5, 1988. 

Marvel was employed as a registered nurse at UPMC Greenville Hospital for many years retiring in 2015. Prior to that she had worked as a nurse in Corpus Christi, Texas. Marvel enjoyed her cats and she was an avid reader. 

Marvel is survived by 3 sisters, Winifred Nicholas of Warren,OH, Thelma Hamilton of North Bloomfield,OH, and Sylvia (Eugene) Kolley of Wayne township, OH; 1 brother, Charles Nicholas of Wayne township, OH; 13 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Joseph Peel, on September 16, 2011.

A celebration of Marvel's life will be held on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the Wayne Town Hall, 3280 St. Rt. 322, Williamsfield, OH.
