MARY R. BABB, age 72, of Williamsfield, Ohio, died Thursday, December 29, 2005, at University Hospitals of Cleveland. She was born September 4, 1933, in Geneva, Ohio, to Arthur E. Williams, Sr. and Grace Elaine (Harley) Williams. A lifelong Ashtabula County resident, Mrs. Babb had lived in Williamsfield since 1973. She was a lifelong farmer, and volunteered as a 4-H advisor for 25 years. Mrs. Babb was a member of the Andover Church of Christ and a member of the Grange for over 50 years. She enjoyed teaching sunday school with her husband at various churches for 45 years. Mrs. Babb enjoyed raising miniature donkeys, doing field work, sewing, and she loved the outdoors. Mrs. Babb is survived by her husband, Harold W. Babb, whom she married June 29, 1956; daughter, Rebekah (Jacob) Wilson of Mt. Pulaski, IL, daughter, Susanna (Randy) Russell of Vestaburg, MI, son, Gary (Jody) Babb of Williamsfield,OH, daughter, Ruth (Anthony) DiVencenzo of Girard, OH, daughter, Roxanne (Tony) Russell of Stanton, MI, and son, David (Bernice) Babb of Orwell,OH; brother, Arthur (Judy) Williams of Geneva,OH, sister, Joann (Troy) Neubert-Raines of Dry Fork, WV, sister, Peggy (Hank) Bridges of Blythewood, SC, and brother, Alvin (Betty) Williams of Geneva,OH; 18 Grandchildren, Izaak and Rachel Wilson, Benjamin, Jonathan, Matthew, and Diane Russell, Jessica Corson, and Jeffrey Babb, Laura and Tammie Cullumbine, Tony and Salvatore DiVencenzo, Timothy, Michael, Joshua, and Heather Russell, and Stephanie and Nathan Babb; and 6 Great Grandchildren, Blake, Alex, Kylee, Scott, Savannah, and Destiny. Preceding her in death are her parents and an infant sister, Jane Williams. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Andover Church of Christ, Stillman Ave., Andover, Ohio, with Pastor Robert Gears officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsfield Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, December 30, 2005 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 9 P.M. at the Andover Church of Christ.
