Mary E. Blake

Mary E. Blake, age 87, of Jefferson, OH, died Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at Jefferson Health Care Center. She was born May 21, 1922, in Paducah, Kentucky, the daughter of Peter and Mary E. (Fuqua) Green. Mrs. Blake was employed by Columbia House in Terre Haute, Indiana for ten years. She enjoyed yard work, gardening, crafts, decorating, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Blake is survived by her daughter, Janice Lee (Lynn) Slusher of Andover; a granddaughter, Deanna Slusher of Eaton, PA; a grandson, Lynn Slusher, Jr. of Pennbrook, KY; three great grandchildren, Elizabeth Slusher, Camille DeVaney, and Evan DeVaney; and two sisters, Dorothy Buck of Anderson, IN, and Lucille Segal of Reynolds, IN. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; half brother, Woodrow Wallace; and half sister, Judy Michaels. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Roselawn Memorial Park, 7500 N. Clinton St., Terre Haute, IN.
