MARY E. BUSH ARTMAN, age 93, of Vernon Township, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at Andover Village Retirement Community in Andover, Ohio. She was born July 26, 1913, in Hartford, Ohio, to Blaine and Alice (Allen) Hall. A lifetime Vernon Township resident, Mrs. Artman was a 1934 Vernon High School graduate. She was employed as a cook at the Vernon Middle School for 25 years. She was a member of the Vernon United Methodist Church; the Blue Star Mother's Club in Vernon; the Red Hat Society; and was a former member of the D.A.R. Mrs. Artman enjoyed doing things and helping people, flower gardening,and cooking. Mrs. Artman married her first husband, Carl H. Bush, on June 27, 1935. He died in 1974. She married her second husband, Everett C. Artman, on Jan. 18, 2002, and he preceded her in death in 2005. Also preceding her in death are three sisters, Genevieve Pardee, Virginia Hall,and Esther Henry; and four brothers, Robert, Howard, Delbert, and Glen Hall. She is survived by her four sons, Bruce Bush of Burghill, OH, Michael Bush of Andover, OH, Clyde Bush of Akron, OH, and John Bush of Akron, OH; four daughters, Judy Fleming of Williamsfield,OH, Eileen Russo of Burghill, OH, Sandy Rusnak of Burghill, OH, and Karyn Huffman of Linesville, PA; four sisters, Pauline Kiepper of Southington, OH, Mickey Walker of Kinsman,OH, Janet Liszka of Greenville, PA, and Joan Burns of Hartford,OH; one brother, Gordon Hall of Chattanooga, TN; 8 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH. Burial will follow in Rock Ridge Cemetery, West Salem Township, PA. Pallbearers will be Harold Garlock of Kinsman, OH, Dan Hall of Kinsman,OH, Stan Liszka of Jamestown, PA, Robert Kiepper of Bristol, OH, and Ken Stafford of Kinsman, OH. Calling hours will be on Thursday, August 31st from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve-Ashtabula office, P.O.
