Mary R. Ducic

Mary R. Ducic, age 96, of Andover, Ohio, died Friday, January 2, 2015, at the Andover Village Retirement Community. She was born October 1, 1918, in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Biago and Maria (Vieni) Giaimo. A resident of Andover for the past thirty years, Mrs. Ducic was formerly of Cleveland. She was employed by the Illuminating Company in Cleveland for many years. She was affiliated with Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Andover; and she belonged to Miraculous Medal in Cleveland. Mrs. Ducic most enjoyed being with her family, especially her many grandchildren. She is survived by seven grandchildren, Rebecca Burford, Lisa Kerns, Frank Wlotzko, Shawn Wlotzko, Victor Wlotzko, all of Andover, OH, Yvonne Beliles of Florida, and Sharie Winell of West Virginia; and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Ducic; and her daughter, Catherine Howser. Mrs. Ducic will be cremated and no services held.
